The Clock
Not really sure what it's all about? Well, it's pretty much a clock that measures how close we are to doomsday. Ever since we dropped the bomb the idea of doomsday just seemed more real than before. The thing is, the closer the minute hand is to midnight, the closer we are to an atomic war.
In case you're wondering, it was changed because we still have tons of nukes sitting around, plenty of them just eager to launch right now. There's also a rather new factor, the fact that all these environmental issues and stuff makes some places less kind towards humans.
Makes sense, right? Plenty of wars fought over land.
Keep in mind that their reasons are more lengthy, and accurate, but if you're like me you really don't like reading walls of text. Even though they really don't have very tall walls, my walls are better. So yeah, I was kind enough to condense it for you.
No worries though, we've been way closer to midnight before, like 2 minutes to midnight (1953, both U.S. and Soviets test thermonuclear weapons and all that stuff). So 5 minutes to midnight isn't anything new.
Still, it really isn't that good to go forward in doomtime, not good at all.
Just in case though, I drew up some plans for an underground bunker in the event that we do get ourselves in an atomic war, you can burrow my brilliant plans if you need to, just as a safety precaution.
Brilliant, eh? With this you'll survive for years while you stupid friends who didn't take advantage of a bunker rot in the radioactive wasteland.
Hmm...should've given it more thought though, unfortunately the bunker complex looks a little too much like something else. I honestly didn't notice that until now.
